Kathmandu. Police have arrested absconding defendant Ram Mani Tripathi in connection with a banking fraud case. 41-year-old Rammani Tripathi has been arrested from Kalanki in connection with the cheque bounce case.
On the basis of the complaint filed by Kopila Poudel, the Kathmandu District Court on June 23, 2082 issued a verdict in the banking offense case against the plaintiff Government of Nepal and defendant Rammani Tripathi. Rs. 14,67,800 to be paid to the defendant. Rs 73,390 fine, 5-day imprisonment and compensation in the Victim Relief Fund. It was ordered to deposit 2,936.
Tripathi was arrested from Kalanki of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-14 at around 7:30 am on August 4.TAG_OPEN_p_17
